Born out of her passion for a treatment and cure for Rett Syndrome, with which her daughter Rancey was diagnosed at the age of 2, Anna served on the South Alabama Birth Defects Consortium, was advisor to the Board of the Ronald McDonald House, and advisor to the South Alabama Autism Society and Founding Member and Trustee of the Rett Syndrome Research Foundation, currently the International Rett Syndrome Association.
§ Through her volunteerism, Anna has previously served on the boards of the Abby Berg Senior Center and Mulhearin Custodial Home. Anna has also been honored for her work with the Junior League of Mobile and as an Outstanding Alumnus of Spring Hill College.
